If you know someone with an addiction to drugs or alcohol, you most likely want to do everything in your control just to help them get out of it. There are ways you can help an addict overcome their addiction. Just remember you are only helping and not in control of their actions. If they aren’t ready to get past their addictive lifestyle or ready to let go of their use, you can’t force them. Is addiction hereditary? End the Enabling
